Many of us have written “Dear Diary…” at some point. For thirty years, Fanny de Chaillé has been inventing her own language—one of the most unique in contemporary French theater. In *Ultrasensibles*, she brings to light the personal “ego-documents” of her virtuoso troupe of actors and actresses, reimagined as a family that decides to clean out the basement: What do we throw away? What do we keep? Amid the joyful chaos that ensues, forgotten diaries and family archives come back to life and reveal intimate details.
