Who were the witches really? Behind the ominous image created by stories and the collective imagination, we also see free women, healers, and keepers of knowledge, whose voices have been marginalized or erased. In *SORCIÈRES*, Aureline Guillot revisits this figure as a symbol of freedom, resistance, and emancipation. Through a sensitive and embodied choreographic solo, she creates a dialogue between shadow and light, wound and rebirth, memory and reappropriation. Drawing inspiration in particular from Mona Chollet’s reflections in *Sorcières? The Undefeated Power of Women*, the piece invites us to take a fresh look at these women and at what they continue to tell us today.
