Les 100 ans d’Emak Bakia

Heritage Days always take place at the same time as the Fall Festival. As a result, they have had little visibility in our town for several years now. Instead of participating in these national events, Toki-Toki is organizing a heritage highlight in mid-October to give greater visibility to our town’s history. This year, we’re paying tribute to Man Ray and his surrealist film *Emak Bakia* (*Leave Me Alone*), shot 100 years ago in the eponymous villa on Parliamentia Hill. The film *In Search of Emak Bakia* by Pamplona-based director Oskar Alegria will be screened at the theater. In it, the artist conducts a genuine investigation, leaving it up to chance and the wind to try to unravel the secrets of this iconic and mysterious work.
