Balade atelier : Paysages, risques littoraux et adaptation

As part of the coastal risk awareness program developed in collaboration with the Basque Country Urban Community, we invite you to participate in a walk/field workshop. During a short walk along the harbor and the barthes, a project coordinator from the CPIE Littoral Basque will help you interpret this landscape, which is at once ancient, natural, and man-made. This 4.5-km walk explores the geohistory of the harbor and barthes area.You’ll discover the natural phenomena that have shaped this natural area and gain insight into how humans have adapted—with varying degrees of success—to the “challenges” of this territory. Take this opportunity to better understand past developments and to imagine together what the future may hold. We’ll learn how current natural hazards are monitored and gain a better understanding of the role played by local residents.
