The CPIE Pays Basque is organizing the 4%B0 %E9dition of its photo festival dedicated to Basque nature and mountains to highlight the region’s landscapes and unique biodiversity. This event will offer an exploration of the natural heritage of the Basque mountains through a combination of photo exhibitions, walks, hikes, nature workshops, and photography techniques and practices. Educational and fun nature discovery activities serve as the foundation for learning photography. Water is everywhere—discreet or spectacular, calm or untamed. It shapes the landscape, sustains life, flows through the seasons, and reveals itself in a thousand forms: rain, ice, mist, rivers, oceans… but also in dew, steam, mud, snow, or reflections. For this photo contest, we invite you to turn your gaze toward this essential presence. Submissions open on September 24.
