Exposition «Bideen Aztarnak» de Régis Pochelu

The Bideak Cultural Center is hosting the exhibition “Bideen Aztarnak” by stone sculptor Régis Pochelu. Through his sandstone sculptures from the mountains of the Basque Country, the artist explores the memory of places, landscapes, spirituality, and the connections between human beings and their territory. Installed in the landscaped garden and the cloister, the works interact with the architecture of the former convent, the vegetation, the light, and the traces of the past. Visitors are invited to explore a true scenographic experience where contemporary art, heritage, and nature converge. This exhibition echoes the mission of Bideak, located at the crossroads of the pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela: here, the journey itself becomes an artistic experience.
