Exposition et conférence «Et si vous remontiez le fil de votre histoire familiale ?» : introduction à la généalogie

As part of “Semaine Bleue,” organized by the Anglet City Hall and the CCAS, Anglet Patrimoines is hosting a lecture and an exhibition introducing genealogy. The Anglet Patrimoines website already features a genealogical search module for Anglet civil registry records from 1613 to 1900, a module created and populated with 35,030 records by one of our members. Our speaker, Bernard Dusseau, will present the “basics” of starting a genealogical research project, with the goal of gaining a better understanding of the lives of one’s ancestors, their occupations, their travels, and the paths they took. This introduction will allow those interested to continue their studies in a series of classes that Bernard Dusseau will teach from September 2026 through June 2027.
