Comédie : «Couple ouvert à deux battants»»

The Bideak Cultural Center is hosting the play “"Open Couple %E0 à deux battants%BB," written by Dario Fo and Franca Rame and presented by the Tivoli Théâtre d’Anglet company. Written in the early 1980s, at the height of the feminist movement, this comedy remains surprisingly relevant in the wake of #MeToo. The play features a couple who have long embraced sexual freedom—but mostly on the husband’s part! When his wife, Antonia, decides in turn to crack open the door of their relationship to sample this marital freedom, her husband quickly discovers that this new situation isn’t really to his liking. Doors open to the public at 7:45 p.m.
