Exposition «Première, seconde…»

This annual event offers visitors the chance to discover the work of a selection of recent graduates from partner art schools. This year, the European School of Visual Arts Angoulême-Poitiers, the Clermont Métropole School of Art, the National School ofEcole Supérieure d’Art et de Design de Limoges, and, for the first time, the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Pays Basque. Since 1995, the Meymac Contemporary Art Center has offered, every fall, a selection of about ten young artists who have graduatedafter five years of study at art schools, to exhibit their work (often for the first time) in an institutional setting. Accompanied by a critical essay for each artist included in a catalog, each session provides an opportunity to take note of the emerging concerns among young artists across all disciplines.
