Kokoshca
Amaia Tirapu (vocals, guitar), Iñaki Lòpez (vocals, guitar), Alex López (drums), Iñigo Andión (bass) Kokoshca is one of those bands that seems to move by instinct and emotional compass rather than by manuals or established styles. The group, which emerged in Pamplona in 2008, has a repertoire, with 8 albums recorded, that traverses the paths of Spanish independent pop-rock in an honest and passionate way. Their music, defined by an overflowing character of their own, is not easy to categorise. Their stylistic eclecticism leads them to draw from classic rock and heartbreaking pop, but also from influences as varied as electronica, cumbia, corridos and kraut. Regardless of the style of each song, Kokoshca is a band that is always recognisable, with its own unmistakable sound. Their repertoire, full of indie classics in Spanish, combines raw guitars with soft melodies and has songs with lyrics full of choruses that invite you to sing along and that talk about love, memory, the future, or rather, the lack of future, misunderstandings and the resistance to accept adulthood as destiny. And their attitude and energy lead us to immerse ourselves in endless nights, to become infected by a non-conformism and irreverence that reminds us of punk, but which can also move through nostalgia, irony, humour and reflection. Kokoshca's concert at the Jazzaldia will be a celebration of community and will focus on their new album Divino Tesoro (2026). A compilation of 11 songs that mark the band's career. Undoubtedly an excellent opportunity to enjoy the hits of this unique group once again.
