Nøgen: 10. urteurrena
Ane Negueruela (voice), Jokin Guilisagasti (drums), Markel Idigoras (ukulele, vocals), Alex Irazusta (guitar), Olatz Cuevas (bass) The quintet from San Sebastian Nøgen will be 10 years old in 2026. To celebrate it, they will review some of their most outstanding songs, some of which are authentic hymns for their fans: Nora, Ez Da Ondo Aterako, Enarak, Gertu, Oxigenoa... Nøgen started writing songs in 2016 and has released three albums to date: Liv Til Døden (2018), Under Alt (2020), Åben Cirkel (2023). In addition, they have played concerts in venues and festivals, large and small, throughout Spain and internationally, in countries such as Japan, Korea, Finland and Cuba. The group's name, which in Danish means naked, sums up their intention from the beginning: to offer songs that feel sincere, open, close, without artifice and deeply human. Their sound has been compared to references such as Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters and Men and La M.O.D.A.. Their lyrics, in Basque, English and Spanish, speak of the passing of time, human relationships, identity and memory. Nøgen moves between folk, indie and pop, with elaborate vocal harmonies, strong rhythms and melodies that sometimes embrace melancholy and intimacy, and others that are pills of youthful vitality, a celebration of life that frees us and invites us to dance.
