Exposition multimédia «Eleketa : mémoires orales de Soule»

For nearly 20 years, the Basque Cultural Institute has been working to collect oral history through its Eleketa program, developed under the auspices of the Pyr%E9n%E9s-Atlantiques Departmental CouncilE9es-Atlantiques. In an effort to showcase the richness of the Eleketa collection and share these testimonies with the region’s residents, the ICB has developed the digital portal mintzoak.eus and offers multimedia exhibitions. This exhibition is an excerpt from the exhibition “Eleketa: Oral Histories of Soule,” which was presented in Mauléon-Licharre in 2023 and traveled to Camou-Cihigue in 2024. As was the case in Camou-Cihigue, the actors and volunteers of the Lurdes Iriondo pastoral group had the opportunity over several months, during rehearsals, to familiarize themselves with the treasures it contains.
