Nature outing CPIE Pays Basque: "Ecopastoralism".

Organised by the CPIE Pays Basque, with Emilie Pasquereau, environmental educator at the CPIE Pays Basque, David Tourreuil, director of the Pays de Cize union commission and Alice Maniere, agri-environment and pastoralism officer - Natura 2000. Pastoralism shapes much of our Basque landscape. Grazing, mowing, burning and reforestation are all practices that revolve around agriculture and biodiversity. On the Cize plateau, we'll be showing you the different ways in which the mountains are managed. Bring water, hiking boots, snacks and warm clothing. Minimum age 12.
