Nicki Parrott: double bass ? vocal, Arnaud Labastie: piano Franck Robersheuten: saxophone, Antoine Gastinel: drums NICKI PARROTT Born in Newcastle, Australia, Nicki Parrott began her musical training at the age of 4 with piano and flute, then switched to bass at 15. In Sydney, she studied jazz at the Conservatory, where she began playing with Australian musicians. She continued her studies with bassists such as Ray Brown and John Clayton, before moving to New York in May 1994. In June 2000, she performed with Les Paul, Paul McCartney and a host of other musicians. In 2010, her album Black Coffee went gold.
