Festival «Musikolore» – Projections et discussion

The Musikolore festival returns this year with a prestigious line-up that promises to thrill world music fans. 8:00 pm: Screening of the documentary ? Baiona/Ndakaaru The Conservatoire?s contemporary dance students had the opportunity to take part in a week-long course at the École des Sables in Senegal, founded by Germaine Acogny, an emblematic figure in contemporary African dance. 8:15pm: Screening of the documentary Germaine ? Acogny, the essence of dance. Drawing her inspiration from traditional West African dance, Germaine Acogny has established herself as a major figure in contemporary dance, as well as one of the continent?s most important artists. 10:00 pm: Discussion ? From the Basque Country to the École des Sables: the story of an artistic immersion.
