Choeurs Basques mixtes Kantuka

Born from the merger of two choirs, Airoski from Béguios and Burgaintzi from Arbouet, the Kantuka choir brings together some forty choristers from 18 villages in the Pays de Mixe, who perform a cappella, in four, six or eight voices, an essentially Basque repertoire, with a few pieces from other origins. They represent a region where singing remains, as ever, a mode of expression in its own right, and a shared pleasure. The Kantuka Choir invites you on a journey through a Basque country of traditions and emotions, with traditional melodies, contemporary creations and sacred songs.
