L’ornithologue

Monitoring protocol, conducted by the Natural History Museum, in the presence of staff from the Directorate and an ornithologist from the Pyr%E9n% National Parkto inventory resident and migratory birds and band them. Meet an ornithologist in the park to learn about techniques for monitoring wild birds. You’ll learn about the principles of migration, bird movements, and the importance of banding. This special experience will allow you to get up close to the birds. Led by Park staff and ornithologist Philippe Fontanilles. Organized by the Department of the Environment and ornithologist Philippe Fontanilles. Open to all ages, ages 7 and up.
