Tourism professionals, lodging providers, and service providers—our CPIE is developing an initiative to raise awareness among tourism stakeholders about natural heritage and ecotourism. From the ocean to the mountains, through the foothills and wetlands, our region boasts a rich variety of habitats. Whether in terms of flora or fauna, iconic species also define this region. The geological heritage is also a key feature of the Basque Country’s identity. The ecotourism initiative is also rapidly expanding.
