Soirée Klima : conférence inspirante «de la biodiversité comme un humanisme»

Monday, October 5, 2026

Anglet, Lapurdi

Maison de l'Environnement 297 avenue de l'Adour 64600 ANGLET

In his latest book, *Biodiversity as Humanism*, Marc-André Sélosse positions the living world—which remains all too little understood—as an ally for change in these times of crisis. With expertise and clarity, he reminds us that as human beings, “we are 100% woven from biodiversity” and that our quality of life, our future, and our survival depend on it. This inspiring evening will also feature presentations from local middle schools, which will share the initiatives they’ve carried out with students to promote biodiversity. Mixel Etxekopar, a musician inspired by nature, Basque traditions, and the poetry of everyday life, will accompany this lecture by creating a soundscape blending vocals, the txirula, and bird calls... Hosted by Marc-André Sélosse, microbiologist and ecologist; educator and science communicator. Professor at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris.
